Yakiniku is a new dish featured in Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic.


Yakiniku (Grilled Meat) is one of the popular ways to prepare meat dishes in Japan. One will cut up the meat in very small pieces and then grill it, usually along with vegetables. Sometimes in restaurants, it will be prepared on a special cooker built into the table known as teppanyaki.

Before being eaten, the ingredients will then be dipped in sauces, usually made of soy sauce mixed with sake, mirin, sugar, garlic, fruit juice, or sesame. Other sauces may use garlic and shallot or miso instead.
