Tamagoyaki is a recipe that appears in Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic.


A Japanese omelette, tamagoyaki is made by rolling together several layers of cooked egg that is normally prepared on a special pan or skillet known as makiyakinabe.

There are several types well known by others, but the general basis to making it is by combining eggs, rice vinegar and sometimes soy sauce or sugar. Some like to use sake in the recipe! An alternative version includes a mix of shrimp puree, grated mountain yam, sake and egg, turned into a custard-like cake.

  5. Grate it!

  • White Radish (daikon)
  • Presented with a shiso leaf under the grated radish
