Tagliatelle is a type of pasta that have a long flat ribbon shape, similar to fettuccine. Because of its large size and rough texture, tagliatelle is best with thick or chunky sauces and is typically paired with bolognese sauce, an Italian sauce made of minced beef, tomatoes, and vegetables.
