Pickled Radish is a dish available in Cooking Mama 3: Shop & Chop.


Known in Japan as takuan, this recipe consists of daikon radish that has been pickled and cut into pieces before serving. Takuan is primarily served to cut on the oiliness of fried foods, such as Tonkatsu or Tempura.

  1. Wash the radish!
  2. Hang the radish!
  3. Mix it!
  4. Line them up neatly!
  5. Place the weight!
  6. Chop it carefully!


  • Daikon Radish
  • Rice Bran
  • Salt
  • Granulated Sugar (zarame)
  • Red Pepper
  • Decorated with nanten (heavenly bamboo) leaves
