Oden is a dish introduced in Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends.

Info[]

A popular Japanese dish best served during the winter season. It comes with several ingredients like boiled eggs, daikon radish, konnyaku, and processed fish cakes (kamaboko). Everything is then stewed in a light, soy-flavored broth. However, the overall ingredients used in Japan tend to differ between regions.

Some can find oden simmering pots in convenience stores and others can find it sold from food carts. Many variations are sold, including some as cheap as 100 yen including a single ingredient.

Oden is sometimes served with noodles, especially soba noodles and shirataki noodles, but also plain thick wheat noodles.
