Oden is a dish introduced in Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends.


A popular Japanese dish best served during the winter season. It comes with several ingredients like boiled eggs, daikon radish, konnyaku, and processed fish cakes (kamaboko). Everything is then stewed in a light, soy-flavored broth. Ingredients tend to differ between regions of Japan however.

Some can find oden simmering pots in convenience stores and others can find it sold from food carts. Many variations are sold, including some as cheap as 100 yen including a single ingredient.
