Matsutake Mushroom Rice is a dish available in Cooking Mama 3: Shop & Chop.


Rice served with the Japanese matsutake, also known as the pine mushroom. Matsutake is notoriously known for being expensive to purchase due to the specific growing conditions it needs. It is highly sought after for Japanese cuisine and the cuisine of neighboring countries such as Korean and Chinese.

This recipe is unlocked through the "Let's Match" mode by combining Rice and Mushrooms.

  1. Wash the rice!
  2. Wipe off the mud!
  3. Slice it up!
  4. Dip it in boiling water!
  5. Slice it up!
  6. Add the ingredients!
  7. Steam the rice!
