A croquette is a small piece of food that is covered in breadcrumbs and then fried. Usually one would use meat or potato and also include types of fish, cheese, vegetables, or a combination. It is then soaked in some type of liquid or dry ingredient before being fried.
Sometimes one may include ingredients to put in the middle, like eggs or mushrooms.
