Castella is a new recipe introduced in Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic

InfoEdit

Castella is a Japanese sponge cake made of sugar, flour, eggs, and starch syrup. It is a special sponge cake often found in pretty boxes!

Made of natural ingredients, it's pretty popular and now many variations of it have been made such as powdered green tea, brown sugar, and honey. They can also be molded into different shapes and even sold as "baby castella", a bite-sized version that sometimes includes small pics on it.

RecipeEdit

  1. Break an egg!
  2. Add the ingredients!
  3. Use the hand mixer!
  4. Pour it!
  5. Set the oven!
  6. Remove it from the mold!
  7. Brand it!
